  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ tsp baking soda


Bring the milk to boil and allow it cool down. Add the honey and butter and mix well. Finally, stir in the egg yolk and the baking soda.


For optimal results, take this remedy before bedtime for 5 days.

As reported by MayoClinic, giving your child honey when they have a cough is as effective at reducing the cough as over-the-counter syrups, without the negative side effects.  It helps soothe sore throat, promotes better sleep, and boosts immunity.  On the other hand, milk keeps them hydrated and supplies the weakened body with nutrients like vitamin D, zinc, calcium and protein.



  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey


Mix all the ingredients and take the remedy twice daily, in the morning and before bedtime.

How it Works?

Olive oil is a heart-healthy fat which produces effects which reduce bronchitis symptoms and help expel mucus.  Lemon juice is high in vitamin C and anti-bacterial properties which increase the resistance against infections, and honey provides antiseptic properties and boosts immunity.
