2 Layer Smoothie Recipe
- 1 sliced banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup cherries pitted
- 1/4 cherry juice
- 1 tbsp. crushed walnuts
- 1 tbsp. crushed almonds or hazelnuts
Combine all the ingredients except the cherries, the cherry juice and the walnuts. Blend for 30 minutes until you get a creamy mixture. Divide it in two, and put the remaining ingredients( cherries, cherry juice and walnuts) in the first part. Blend for another 30 minutes until everything is smooth.
You successively pour from both mixtures until you get the two layer smoothie. Garnish as you prefer and serve immediately.
