Is there something you can replace the mint with that might have the same effect? It upsets my stomach.

what makes you lose fat is being in a caloric deficit!!

Great response! I think where this may help people is in digestion, since pineapple and papayas have enzymes that help aid in digestion.

My family and I went paleo about four months ago (http://fullhealthguru.com/restart), and I have to say, not only is it fantastic for weight loss, but it’s amazing for overall health. My husband suffered from insomnia and anxiety, and even that has diminished significantly because of the healthier diet. With myself, I lost a good 25 pounds, but beyond that – I just feel more energetic.

      Sara, here are the instructions:

You juice the pineapple, lemon, ginger and mint, and then you add the water. You stir everything well and then you consume the drink. The drink is not to be consumed at once, but rather in period of 3-4 hours during the evening.

Does this drink have to be made every night or can you make a batch of them and store in fridge but then take out for them to be stored for room temp before consuming them?

    • Admin says:

The preparation depends on you. You can either prepare fresh every night or prepare for longer period and store in the fridge. Though it is not advised to store the drink in the fridge for more than 3 days.

Are you supposed to drink the 2 cups?

Is this drink in place of an evening meal or do you eat an evening meal as well?

This drink is recommended to be prepared whenever you crave for late evening food although it can be easily substituted instead of a high calorie dinner. If you go for a fresh salad, then both can be taken in a period of at least 2 hours
