    Fresh or canned pineapple. If it’s not in season,would canned (in water, not juice or syrup) work? Or is there more sugar in the canned regardless?

    You can used canned but remeber it was processed. If frozen is an option it might be better. Plus the cold might make the drink more enjoyable. As for almond milk there is a reason why they use it and it’s for the protein. I don’t think there is as much protein in cows milk and there is more fat in cows milk. It just does not have the same benefits so I would suggest not replacing it but u can always try. Plus if u use unsweetened almond milk it has less carbs/sugars then white milk.
