- 30 dried figs
- 30 walnut kernels
- 1 1/2 cup homemade walnut milk
- 1/2 tbls. cinnamon
- 1 cup crushed almonds
- 1 cup crushed walnuts
- vanilla extract
- lemon rind
- 1 tbs. honey ( optional)
- Soak the dried figs in previously prepared homemade walnut milk and let them stay for few hours until they get soft enough.
- Drain the figs and cut them a little bit at the top so that you can easily put the kernel in it.
- Mix the remaining of the homemade walnut milk with the rest of the ingredients: cinnamon, vanilla extract , lemon rind, crushed walnuts and honey. Use this mixture all over the figs and make them into form of balls.
- Get a food processor, put the almonds in it and grind for about 20 seconds. Roll the previously prepared dessert balls in the crushed almonds. Put them in a fridge for an hour. By using sharp knife cut them in two and they are ready to be served.
