Honey and Apple

It might be more tempting to cut the apple in two, to spread honey over it and to eat it as a dessert, but refrain yourself from such delicacy and utilize the benefits of both apple and honey on your face.

  •  1 grated apple
  • 2 tbsp. organic honey

Add the honey in the grated apple and stir well until they blend together. Apply the mask on your face and let it stay for 20 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water.

Oatmeal and Basil

Oats and basil are famous for their anti-acne properties and they help for thorough cleanse and calmness of the skin. They can be used separately( oats blended with water and used as mask on one hand, and basil soaked in water and then used as lotion on the other hand), but together they make a powerful combination which has a beneficial effect on the skin prone to developing acnes

  •  2 small tbsp. basil
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup water

Soak the dried basil in a glass with hot water and let it stay until it cools off. In the meantime, take the oats, put them in a blender until they are finely chopped. Slowly pour the basil water into the oats till you get a mixture thick enough to stay on your face when applied. Gently massage your face for 3 minutes to improve circulation and then apply the mask and let it stay for 15 minutes. When you wash it off, make circle movements in order to get full exfoliation.

Yogurt and Lemon

This combination provides nourishment for the skin, it prevents dryness and reduces greasiness. It is useful for all skin types, especially for oily skin

  • 2 tbsp. yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix  the yogurt and the lemon juice well, and slowly apply the mask on the skin. Put more of the mask on the affected areas. Let it stay like that for 15-20 minutes. Wash the face afterwards with warm water.
