1. Aging

Growing older means that the degenerative process takes place. The desmosomes (those that link your cells together) tend to be a lot more fragile. The lipids that keep your skin moisture locked will eventually be decreased, and muscles will sag sooner or later if they’re not exercised.

2. Habits

Chewing gum, laughing, squinting your eyes, using straws to drink and other such activities that put your muscles in a high active state cause wrinkles as you age.

3. Diet

Eating sugar can damage the links in your collagen and elastin. Insufficient intake of water, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats also speeds up the formation of wrinkles.

4. Lifestyle

More stress on the skin in the form of smoking cigarettes and not wearing sunscreen when tanning is also a major contributor to cheek bones.

5. Posture

Stuff like resting on your hands and arms while sitting, pillow squeezed in cheeks and jaw deforms the consistency of your integument, and it forms marks that overtime will become more obvious lines.

You may use these masks two to three times a week, depending on your need for a natural Botox. Cleanse your face well before applying the mask. Make sure to rinse with lukewarm water and dry the skin by patting (not rubbing) towel to your face.

Before applying any of these masks, you should know that each skin type has a different sensitivity, so if any of these ingredients are known to trigger an allergic reaction on your face, do not apply the mask. You should also consult your doctor whether or not it’s okay to apply face mask that’s made out of ingredients, as some of them may not be suitable for your skin. Cleanse your face very well before you apply the mask, and make sure to rinse it with lukewarm water and pat it dry. So don’t rub it with a towel, but pat it instead.
